OMNI CLEANING SYSTEMS

OVERVIEW

BRANSON OMNI BIOTEK 1012

The Branson Omni Biotek 1012 is a high performance ultrasonic wash, rinse and dry system that is specifically engineered for the medical and biotech industry. It is a fully-configured ultrasonic cleaning and rinsing system with a built-in HEPA filtered, hot air dryer. The equipment incorporates quality materials and workmanship along with features that enhance precision cleaning and drying capability. The Omni Biotek’s array of features combined with a compact footprint makes it an ideal work cell system.

CLEANING
Precision cleaning is accomplished in the first station’s ultrasonic wash tank. Dependant on the application, the wash tank can be equipped with a choice of different frequency ultrasonics ranging from 40 kHz to 170 kHz. The wash tank also has thermostatically controlled heat to raise the solution temperature up to 150

RINSING

Following the ultrasonic wash tank are two counter-flowing cascade rinse tanks. Fresh rinse water entering the final rinse tank overflows into the first rinse tank. This counter-flowing feature provides excellent rinsing while substantially reducing water consumption. The first rinse tank comes equipped with a choice of different frequency ultrasonics, ranging from 40 kHz to 170 kHz. The frequency choice tailors the ultrasonic rinsing ability to the application. The ultrasonic energy in the first rinse drives off any residual soils and cleaning chemistry to completely rinse fine details, blind holes, or crevices on the parts. The over-flowing fresh water final rinse in tank three assures thoroughly clean and rinsed parts prior to entering the dryer chamber. Both rinse tanks have thermostatically controlled heat.

DRYING

The drying chamber utilizes both elevated temperature and rapid air movement to produce dry parts. The dryer chamber’s recirculated hot air is moved through digitally controlled heating elements, and then through a high efficiency HEPA filter element before being returned to the chamber. The chamber is furnished with a 3" vent duct to facilitate moist air removal.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Small foot print of 24”W x 37”H x 75”L (approx. 2ft x 3ft x 6ft)
  • Four station system with ultrasonic wash, ultrasonic rinse, overflow final rinse, and high performance HEPA filtered recirculating hot air dryer
  • Bright electro-polished 316L stainless steel wash and rinse tanks with radiused bottom corners to facilitate complete drainage and enhance cleanliness
  • Cascading dual rinse tanks with notched overflow weirs conserve water while providing high performance rinsing
  • Frame structure and exterior panels are all 304SS
  • Tank dimensions are 10”W x 12”L x 10”D with capacity of 5.1 gallons each
  • Dryer chamber dimensions are 10”W x 12”L x 18”D
  • High performance dryer uses heated high velocity HEPA filtered air to efficiently dry parts
  • The dryer’s recirculated air is continuously HEPA filtered to remove particles down to 0.3 micron at 99.97% efficiency
  • Branson’s state of the art S8500 series ultrasonic generators and transducers provide consistent high watt density ultrasonic energy to the wash and rinse tanks, maximizing cleaning and rinsing effectiveness, and assuring the same cleaning and rinsing results time and time again
  • A choice of ultrasonic frequencies is offered at 40, 80,120 or 170 kHz.  Frequencies are chosen to match the cleaning and rinsing capability to the application. Watt densities are up to 100 Watts/gallon
  •  Pump and filter loop recirculates the wash tank solution and removes contaminates
  • Digital temperature controllers provide precise control of the heated wash and rinse tank baths along with the dryer chamber temperature
  • 304 Stainless steel plumbing and filter housing is standard. 316L sanitary plumbing option available
